Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club ran a sprint at Curborough on Sunday 10 May.
The event was run as almost a two-lap affair with two practice runs and two timed runs.
After beautiful weather on Saturday, one expected nice weather for Sunday, but it was not to be, with a cold wind and heavy rain making only one proper timed run in the dry.
Eighteen competitors were from Larkspeed teams out of a total entry of Fifty- three, representing seven clubs.

Sheffield and Hallamshire scored highly as expected moving from ninth place up to second. Most clubs dropped places although Alwoodley enter the top ten along with York.
Thanks are due to Messers. Healey and helpers, it is a pity that sprinting does not seem to excite our members. Distance cannot be the reason as I only took two hours with a large trailer from Bradford.
