A Retro Touring Assembly taking place on Remembrance Sunday 9 November 2025

The hair was longer, the skirts were shorter, and the rallies were epic!
Dig out your Mini Cooper and mini skirts, your Ford Capri and your flares, and get ready to step back to the 60's with us.
As part of our 75th anniversary year, we are delighted to announce a very special Touring Assembly this autumn. We’ll be turning back the clock to recreate the original route of the Last Ditch Rally - a 12 Car Navigational Rally first run on Sunday 9 November 1969.

We invite you to join us for this unique retro revival on Remembrance Sunday, 9 November 2025. Whether you bring a cherished Classic Car or a Modern Car of significant interest, this is your chance to step into the spirit of 1969 and enjoy an unforgettable day of motoring with us.
Crews are encouraged to dress in period and the following prizes will be awarded:

Spirit of the Rally
Best Period Recreation
Most Expert Expert
Keenest Novice
The event will have two classes: Novice, where navigation will be by means of a roadbook, and Expert, where you can try your hand at 12 car-style navigation.
Expert Crews will be given copies of the original Seventh Series one-inch scale OS maps from 1969 to use, and a set of instructions based on the original 12 car navigational rally, while Novice Crews will have a roadbook to follow, together with the original maps.

The Last Ditch Rally will start and finish at the Bay Horse in Cherry Burton near Beverley following a two minute silence at 11:00 on Sunday 9 November.
Entries are open now at rallies.info and will be £65 per car, to include dinner for two people at the start/finish venue.
