Sustainable Motorsport in Action

Our Sustainability Policy
Beverley & District Motor Club is committed to running events responsibly and with respect for the communities and environments that make them possible. Our Sustainability Policy sets out how we prevent pollution, reduce waste, cut emissions, and engage with local residents and partners.
We publish our policy in full to demonstrate transparency and to hold ourselves accountable. It is reviewed annually by the committee and our Sustainability Champion, ensuring it remains a living commitment that reflects best practice and lessons learned.
Guidance for our Members, Competitors, Volunteers & Partners
Sustainability is a team effort. Whether you’re competing, marshalling, or supplying services, your actions make a difference. We’ve created simple one-page guidance notes that explain what we’re doing and how you can help.
These short guides show how small changes add up to meaningful results, while helping our events run to the highest standards.

Making Motorsport Climate Positive
The East Riding Stages Rally leads the way as a climate positive event. Working with Carbon Positive Motorsport, every litre of competitor fuel is measured and offset at 200%, supporting both international carbon reduction projects and UK-based rewilding.
It only costs a little to make a big difference. Anyone can choose to offset their unavoidable fuel usage, helping to ensure motorsport has a sustainable future.
Our Events
Beverley & District Motor Club runs the award-winning Maple Garage Beaver Rally, a road rally covering approximately 140 miles.
We run a very well supported 12 car championship from January to March and October to December each year.
We also organise a closed road event, The East Riding Stages Rally.
All our events are authorised by Motorsport UK.
