Beverley & District Motor Club (BDMC) is proud to announce that the East Riding Stages Rally Forum, held on Saturday 22 February 2025, successfully raised £1,000 for Dove House Hospice. The event, hosted at Beverley Memorial Hall, brought together the rallying community for an evening of camaraderie and generosity.

Organised in collaboration with Creative Talent Management, the forum was delivered by Kev Furber and hosted by Howard Davies. The informal panel featured guest speakers including British Rally Championship contender James Williams, Junior BRC Champion Robert Proudlock, and members of the McRae family.
The evening offered rally fans a relaxed and engaging opportunity to hear stories from the stages and personal reflections from those at the heart of the sport. Attendees had the chance to bid on a variety of items, auctioned with the help of the Matthewson family, and generously donated by guests and rally drivers, with all proceeds directed to Dove House Hospice.

A particularly heartfelt moment occurred when the event photography team pooled their resources to purchase a broken rally wheel donated by James Williams.
The wheel, still bearing the scars of a high-speed crash at the 2024 Rali Ceredigion, was presented as a surprise gift to local photographer Michael Whiteley. The gift was made in recognition of the care Michael’s mother received at Dove House Hospice.
The East Riding Stages Rally, held on Sunday 23 February 2025, served as the opening round of the 2025 Probite British Rally Championship. The rally featured ten challenging special stages, including a Spectator Superspecial Stage on Beverley Westwood, and attracted a diverse field of competitors. William Creighton and Liam Regan emerged victorious, piloting their Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 to a commanding win.
Dove House Hospice, based in Hull, provides specialist palliative care to adults living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as vital support for their families and carers. The hospice offers a wide range of services — from pain and symptom management to end-of-life care and bereavement counselling — all delivered free of charge. With no cost to patients or their loved ones, Dove House relies on the generosity of the local community to continue its compassionate work.
BDMC extends its sincere gratitude to all who contributed to the forum and the rally, demonstrating the profound impact that the motorsport community can have when united for a worthy cause.
