The 2023 rally will be held over the weekend of the 25th & 26th February, and will offer a slightly extended route, together with an increase in the available entries from 100 to 140 cars.
Once again the closed road rally, based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, will adopt a ballot entry system. 120 entries will be selected at random, with the remaining 20 places reserved by the Club to use at their discretion.
Initial entries will open online via www.bdmc.org.uk/east-riding-stages at 09:00 on Friday 6th January 2023 and close at 14:00 on Sunday 8th January 2023. All entries received during those three days will be treated equally, and the ballot system allows competitors to enter the event at their leisure, eliminating the need for “fastest finger first” and giving everyone a fair chance to get an entry.
How it works:
🏁 We use a random number generator to select 120 numbers from the entries received, plus we'll select our 20 discretionary entries.
🏁 We’ll use the random number generator again to sort any remaining entries into the reserve list.
🏁 Successful entries will be confirmed via email and the unseeded entry list will be available later on Sunday 8th January 2023.
🏁 The email confirming your entry will include payment details and payment deadline. If you don’t pay for your entry by the deadline date, your place will be offered to the next reserve on the list.
Register your interest in the rally at www.bdmc.org.uk/event-details/the-reed-group-east-riding-stages-rally-2023 and we will email you with a link to the regulations as soon as they are available.

The 2023 Reed Group East Riding Stages will feature two loops of four stages, with a visit to service between. A ceremonial start and prize giving for the top three finishers will take place in the new fanzone in Beverley Marketplace, while the spectator area will once again be at Burton Constable Hall.
Whether you’re a returning competitor, a new competitor, a marshal or spectator, we look forward to welcoming you to Yorkshire next February.
