We are pleased to be able to announce two new awards, thanks to AJ Racing.
AJ Racing was founded in 2011, when Jon Morris was medically discharged from the Army. Physical and mental illness impeded his career. AJ Racing started out in the Time Attack Championship and following years of hard work and a lot of patience, are now progressing to endurance based racing events.
Jon has developed both the team and vehicle to compete in endurance based championships, and will compete in the CSCC Open Championship this year.
His illness has not gone away, but he has been able to build up his self-confidence and self-belief to the point that he is now helping others with similar problems. He strives to help those that want help through veterans charities or serving personnel. The Armed Forces Breakfast Club and Help for Heroes are the local forces organisations he supports, as well as local colleges.
AJ Racing are offering a Power Cool 180 kit thanks to their sponsors, Evans Waterless Engine Coolants, to the first overall crew on Sunday’s East Riding Stages Rally, with a second Power Cool 180 kit on offer to the car with a crew member residing in The East Riding of Yorkshire.
The committee wishes to thank Jon for his kind offer and we recommend that you visit his website www.ajracingteam.co.uk to see what a fantastic racing team he has built.
We wish him every success this year.
