Welcome to
Beverley & District Motor Club
About the Club
Beverley & District Motor Club is based near Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We usually meet every Thursday evening at the The Bay Horse in Cherry Burton just outside Beverley.
We run competitive social events almost every Club night, as well as organising rallies and marshalling on other Club's events. Normal Club nights start at around 9pm.
The club runs events under the rules and organisation of Motorsport UK, the governing
body for motorsport in the United Kingdom.
We are also affiliated to the following:
Association of Northern Car Clubs
Association of North East Midlands Motor Clubs
East Midland Association of Motor Clubs
North of England & Scottish Classic Rally Organisers

Our Events
Beverley & District Motor Club runs the award winning Maple Garage Beaver Rally, a road rally covering approximately 140 miles.
We run a very well supported 12 car championship from January to March and October to December each year.
We also organise The East Riding Stages Rally, a closed road stage rally based at Bishop Burton College near Beverley.
All our events are covered by the rules in the Motorsport UK Blue Book.

1950-2022
The Club was formed in 1950 and the occasion was recorded by the local paper. The picture shows the founder members at the first ever Beverley & District Motor Club meeting, admiring a 9 horsepower engine!
Today our members compete nationally and internationally in racing and autotests as well as rallying.
